What's Not Included:
- For summer mountain bike tours, if you you need a bike, you can book your rental bike under the 'Bike Rentals' pulldown menu: we pick up the bike and helmet from the bike shop, bring it to the mountain biking trailhead, and return the bike/helmet post-ride. Alternatively, you're welcome to rent your own bike at any of the fine bike shops in Boulder. Just be sure your rental car can hold bikes!
What happens: Winter Snowshoe and Fat Bike tours in beautiful Boulder, Colorado!
- We start the snowshoe and fat bike tours at 9am at the trailhead with a warm welcome! We’ll set up your equipment so they are sized and tuned to your exact specifications, and discuss the trail options to customize our adventure for your ability, fitness and desires!
- Then follow your experienced, certified, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide on a snow adventure to remember! We'll help you with some tips and skills coaching too!
- The tour will last about 3 hours with time to stop for cookies and hot cocoa (included in your tour!) and to enjoy the views.
- Our guides are also your photographers for the day! They know all the best spots for stunning backgrounds, and will email you the photos by the next day.
What happens: Summer Mountain Bike tours in beautiful Boulder, Colorado!
- We start the mountain bike tours at 11am at the trailhead with a warm welcome! We’ll set up your mountain bikes, oil your chains, inflate (or deflate) tires, and fit your helmet for safety.
- We'll hand out your goodie back of local organic trail snacks to bring with you on the trails! We'll have extra water and some gear if you need it while we chat about the day ahead - the trail conditions, safety, and various route options.
- Then follow your experienced, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide on a ride to remember!
- The ride will last about 3-4 hours (with options to extend if you like), with time to stop for snacks and to enjoy the views.
- Our guides are also your photographers for the day! They know all the best spots for stunning backgrounds, and will email you the photos by the next day.
- We’ll finish the ride with a huge smile, a cooler full of cold microbrews and other drinks, as well as a packed organic gourmet lunch back at the trailhead.
Policies:
- You may cancel up to 5 days before tour departure date/time and receive a full refund. No refunds if you cancel within 5 days of tour date and start time BUT see next bullet point -
- We may cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances (Boulder and JeffCo close the trails when conditions are potentially harmful to the trails) in which case you will receive a full refund.
- If snow conditions are not conducive for snowshoeing or fat biking based on our guides' assessment, we will offer a hiking option!
- Guaranteeing a Private Trip requires an additional $40 for snowshoeing and hiking, or $80 for bike rides.
